The following apps have been tested and have been approved by IT Libertas developers, in order to help you use Odoo. When programmers had faced any bugs, they fixed them. The resulted modules are structured and would be used as a base of Odoo implementation. Besides, each description contains links to download an application and to configure it with your own hands

Access rights to import data in Odoo
Data import is a quite complex process in Odoo: it requies certain knowledge and may lead to information losses or damages. The app base_import_csv_optional regulates this instrument through standard user access rights.
Flag the checkbox 'Import CSV files' to let somebody uploading electronic tables and generate new Odoo objects. Unflag it, when you can't trust such user's skills or you can't rely on his/her honesty.
The restriction is equally works either for a web interface import, or for RPC. Tested on Odoo 8.
Be cautious: by default only an administrator would be able to manage import.
Quick button to send a message
The app adds the button "Compose a message" to the top Odoo 8 menu (as it was in OpenERP 7). It let users easily and rapidly access a wizard to send a message to anybody from the software.
